Did Obama do the right thing by Denouncing The Rev?

I think this whole spectacle is a calculated political move by Obama and Wright. It's damage control. They're working together to put more distance between them, so Obama can be free from ociation with Wright. If there's a rift between them, people will believe that Obama is *different* than Wright, and that's exactly what they want people to think.
