Wet feet are driving me insane?

I developed a cold yesterday - primarily my nose is always runny and I sneeze quite a bit. At the same time, my feet are always wet. I keep switching socks but they get uncomfortably wet in about an hour and then my feet become cold presumably because of the wet socks. It's too cold to remove socks entirely and I think this switching socks every hour business is driving me insane. Help me out before I go on a rampage.
