My boyfriend of two years and I never "makeout" we're 22?

Random question- is it normal that my bf and I never makeout anymore? is great, but for the past like 18 months- no making out. Is that normal? Like I have no interest anymore. When the relationship was new, I loved kissing him, but now I'm all like ewww we just ate, or eww so spitty. Is that normal? Do couples stop making out as they grow older? Is that just a "high school" thing?
