Has anyone heard of the the birth control pills that help with headaches, bloating, etc.?

I have the copper IUD that has no hormones in it and was told by my GYN that it would help with cramping and i would probably get less periods but actually my cramping is much worse and i keep getting my periods about every 3 weeks and they are much heavier. I was wondering if anyone has heard of the pill that helps with everything...less periods, headaches, cramping, bloating and also acne. I have always been afraid of the pill because i suffer from migraines and im always worried about side affects but right about now im willing to try something new because im really tired of having a period and all the cramping is pretty painfull.
