My dog has heartworms, help with this Q?

Ok so my dog has heart worms, not a lot its light blue, A little dot on a little tester, and the worst is covered in dark blue whole thing, not even close to what she has, they said if her organs arent healthy they wont do the treatment and if they cant do the treatment she will eventually die, i rather her be put to sleep, do most dogs with heart worms not p and have unhealthy organs? any of yall ever had a dog that had that?
