Preorder on George Strait - Troubadour not redeemable on iTunes?

I preordered the new Geoprge Strait CD abut a month ago on iTunes. It is supposed to come out today and the CD is available for purchase in the store. However, when I log in and go to manage preorders, there is no option to redeem it and when I click on the album title there, it says, "The item you've requested is not currently available in the US store." I preordered the new Alan Jackson CD that just came out recently and that gave me a popup asking if I wanted to redeem my preorder as soon as I logged in. Does anyone else have this problem? Did iTunes mess this up?
