What should i do? Hamster, Cat, or i Pod?

Some of my friends say i should get a hamster and others say i shouldnt my mom doesnt really care same with my dad. My mom wants a cat but it gets its fur everywhere and my mom doesnt want that, but i can still make her agree, and my dad doesnt care. My dad and mom want me to get an iPod touch and i wanted one for a long time and since iwas like 10 i wanted a hamster/cat , iwant the ipod cuz its a 1 time fee and hamster/cat it will be super fun but i have to buy food and bedding and keep it happy which will be fun but may get expensivve.. if i ge ta hamster where should i keep it ? theres only space in the living room which has a table, tv, deep freezer, and its pretty much crowded PLEASE HELP !!
