Year 9 SATs - my son is being put under great pressure already, can he opt out?

Well I'm not sure where to start but you have a good reason to go to the school and talk about this. You should really tell the teachers that the SAT is your son's decision to take it or not. The school have no right to make your son take this test in year 9. It is only mostly appropriate to take it in years 11 and 12. The teacher should not make your son do this and to back up yourself with this, tell the teachers about how your son have been changing. Well that's what i got for now
